"At Zenith Mall in Johor Bahru, enjoy a Taiwanese style hotpot buffet for RM55+ per adult and RM25+ per child. Start with a refillable iced lemon tea and a twin pot of Chinese Herbal Soup and Pumpkin Milk Soup, both delicious and refillable with a common broth. The buffet features pork, beef, mutton, and chicken, with pork belly or shoulder recommended. Other sections offer vegetables, noodles, mushrooms, seafood, processed food and Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice which is must try. End with desserts, fruits, cakes, and ice cream. The service is nice, with tissues, a table bin, and prompt plate clearing, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Not the best but for the value and varieties, nothing much i can complain about."

"served good braised minced pork rice.. soup is good, we took tomatoes soup and Japanese soup...wont feel thirsty. Buffet style mostly frozen stuffs. Ice cream, fruits and pastry are very very basic type.. not crowded...therefore no rush"

"The waiters are very friendly. With the knowledge that I am a vegetarian, they provided me with vegetarian options and plated nicely before serving. There are yuan yang pot and individual pot to choose from. Warm service on a rainy day"

"Many varieties of frozen food available and the meat slices are quite thin too, the soup tasted bland and didn't really liked it. the braised pork rice is actually not that bad just the drink options are limited, there are ice cream as well. Adult RM55+ and 2hrs to dine, definitely sufficient time to eat. the only complain I have is the sitting areas are a little bit warm and don't really feel the air-conditioning."

"Good old steamboat experience without all the glitz and glamour. Just loads of good protein and seafood and self service them all. No time limit so best to come after a 16hours fast. Good for gym bros to visit after gym for bulking. No extra charges for sauce. 55rm ++ anytime anyday Who needs nail polish snacks and staff performing stunts with the noodles?"

"29May25 - Been here many times over the last few years post-Covid pandemic as well as a few times before Covid. Finally writing the review that I never quite got around to doing until now. Pros: - it's convenient (opposite City Square) - affordably-priced for a hotpot buffet in JB Sentral (used to be around RM39 before Covid, around 2019). It's RM55+6% now. - variety of food - nice braised minced pork rice with salted vegetables - has a nice ambience - good service Only thing I don't like is that all their drinks are sweet / too sweet, the only non-sweetened ones are plain water and tea bag. The meat quality has improved, although for this price point don't expect that it would be very good... it is decent. Surprisingly, I think Signature Beef tastes better than Prime Beef (which appears fattier); and pork shoulder appears fattier than pork belly (unless the labels got mixed up). My own recommended sauce concoction that I mix at every hotpot place (subject to availability of ingredients, first 4 are compulsory): - cut red chilli - garlic - sesame oil - black vinegar - spring onions and coriander - fried onions - fried garlic - peanut shaving The sauce has a nice "clean" taste that goes well with hotpot and bbq food, and helps cut through the greasiness / jelakness. Spent: RM116.60 (Guoma hotpot buffet RM55+6% SST x2). Selected pumpkin milk and Taiwanese Spicy medium spicy (less oily their normal mala) soup. Changed to honey lemon as welcome drink. (P.S. Genesis Stemboat (Pelangi)'s drinks, refill soup bases and ice cream win Guoma's, while the latter wins Genesis in its braised minced pork rice, salted vegetables and beef texture.)"
